Douglas Health Service is locally owned and operated by Anne Douglas, RN BSN, assuring you Care Management oversight by the owner and decision maker.

After 22 years in home care, the last 10 on the Treasure Coast of Florida, I provided executive guidance as the Administrator and Director of a large Medicare Certified Agency.  In this role, I experienced first hand the industry's greatest challenge, maintaining competent staff at competitive rates.  I elected to obtain a license through the Agency for Health Care Administration as a Nurse Registry so that clients could receive a better value for their dollar.

Douglas Health Service gives clients access to the most qualified group of caregivers without having to support a high administrative overhead.  The caregivers referred by Douglas Health Service are among the highest compensated caregivers in all of Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties.  Our goal is to bring caregivers and clients together in the most flexible cost effective manner possible.

Since opening, we have provided services to clients referred by Social Workers, Case Managers, Discharge Planners, Physicians, Home Health Agencies, ALF's and Families.  Douglas Health Service has earned a unique reputation for matching compassionate, trustworthy caregivers with clients, thus assuring privacy, safety and comfort.  We approach health care by improving the quality of life for our clients and their families.
